SECTOR Motor Vehicle & Transport
Motor Vehicle & Transport
Keep the country moving — cars, trucks, buses, bikes and machinery.
Vehicles have never been more complex or more electronic, and the technicians who can diagnose them are in short supply. Electric and hybrid drivetrains have created a whole new specialism on top of the existing trade.
Training is usually three years on a level 3 standard, often with block release to a manufacturer's own academy. HGV and plant work pays more than car work and is shorter of people.
